What Customers Say About Mass Effect:

Overall a strong A- rating. But no gamestopping issues. The DRM never became a hassle.

I bought Mass Effect within a couple of days of its initial release, and I've finally found time to restart from scratch and finish it. I've completed the game, although I didn't bother with many of the side quests.

Even after the 1.02 patch, the game's still slightly buggy (especially audio). I understand the gripes about the clunky inventory system and the controls of the Mako, but these silly little bothersome issues become irrelevant very quickly once you become used to how they work.

I can say they never took away from the experience, but I recognize they could have been improved. I'd prefer to not have any copy protection software running, but a later patch did rectify some of the problems faced.

Now onto Mass Effect 2.

this is age game not new game price too much for old Mass Effect than new Mass Effect 2 can be more price than old must price 30 dallor to less by law we will not buy too much price till you change low price.

The game universe is immense. I was amazed by how good a game it is. The story line is very good and quite sophisticated. I had the game for almost two years but I only now actually played it. It's an amazing game. You can play as both good and bad, and both way are viable. BTW, absolutely no problem with DRM.

despite all the issues with the pc version that people mentioned,This is still one of the greatest actions rpgs of all time, and works well with pc controls.Get it. you wont regret it.

They did not make up just some old story but they went in a totally original direction and made up an entire universe with a rich history which is no small task. With exploring already not being great due to the lack of details and cookie cut levels, this really killed that aspect for me since there was not much to fight.Being in space and all with your own ship I had hoped to have some space combat and boarding fun. A lot of levels were cookie cut duplicates, especially the side quests. There were a lot of options on how to fight and how to use the terrain or surround objects to your advantage. While there are only a few types of weapons and armor, there are tons of different manufacturers which offer different properties.

Exploring can be fun and rewarding in some situations as well with a good amount of side quests. However the exploring and levels suffered from some of the biggest issues. A lot of thought was put into the back-story which has a lot of details and connects all the characters into a believable world. Each character connects to that story and they do a good job explaining their motivations for why they do what they do and where they come from. Some of the levels are breathtaking looking, especially one towards the end. I would just fly around the galaxy until I found an enemy ship and then take them on. Being so unique puts Mass Effect in a category all of its own which is one of the reasons it has one so much praise.Starting with the good aspects, the story was deep and well thought out.

I wanted to see some random encounters where I could take on other factions in space combat and try to board their ship to take it over. Really IMO it was too much and made the inventory that much more difficult to manage having to scroll through 20 or 30 shotguns of the same level. The combat was great as I mentioned before but once you killed everything. It was a pain to manage the equipment and your inventory. A lot of cover is offered for the players so you can use tactics and shoot around objects to take on the bad guys.

Most of the levels lacked grit and detail and the open world exploration was bare and plain. Doing this would have been tight to not only attack and take other ships but to defend your own.Even with the faults and some areas that could have been better, I really did enjoy this game a whole lot. Not a lot of good games come out that put you in space these days and offer a good RPG experience. then that was it. No respawns or random encounters. Buck Rogers was an old game on the Genesis and did this really well and with loads of areas to explore. I ended up only using the people that were the BEST at their specialty since I knew they would always have the talents I needed. Overall it felt like a Beta and kind of incomplete in vertain areas like the world environment, the rover, and the equipment system but its a solid start and hopefully the next game builds on the good and replaces the bad from this game.

All your character options are interesting and depending on how you interact with them will impact your story and side quests. The combat was a blast with lots of options especially for the biotics and techs. It was a lot of fun for the action that I had, the classes were great, the story was original, and just a really fun game. The open world was made even more frustrating with the rover vehicle which handled like crap and had to go over crazy mountain ranges which was irritating and not fun.The characters were great as I mentioned but you could only use 2 at a time which sucked. Dragon age was bad with 3, but only having 2 really sucked.Even once you picked your players, managing the inventory was another huge issue. I could either blow them up or board them and take on the crew. I am very excited for Mass Effect 2.
